CEO of ACCEL
Arnaud Nangne accepted his Ph.D. in the field of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from the University of Texas. He is currently the founder and CEO of ACCEL, a global clinical and research laboratory consulting firm headquartered in Houston, Texas. Arnaud also serves as Chairman of the Nangne Foundation, Vice-Chair of the board of trustees for La Famille Bamileke de Houston (LAFABAH), Managing Partner for the Cameroon Investment Club, LLC (CIC), and is the publisher of “Tchouock Lah – The Pulse” Newsletter.
As a graduate student, and with extreme determination for taking care of underserved individuals, communities, and organizations, he created and registered in 2005 The Nangne Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Prior to fully transitioning into entrepreneurship in 2016, and devoting his work fulltime to his capitalist ventures and philanthropic projects with no other academic or industrial appointment and affiliation, and with primary interests in regulatory and compliance, Arnaud successfully led the clinical and research quality assurance units for world leading institutions at the Texas Medical Center.
In November 2013, he left the nation’s top cancer institution, the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center after redefining and implementing a robust quality assurance program for the clinical and translational research center (CTRC), as well as leading the business analytic group that developed their inhouse laboratory information system (LIS).
In late 2015, he termed his appointment with the Texas Heart Institute’s (THI) regenerative medicine research. During his time with the THI, Arnaud directed the quality assurance unit and spearheaded their efforts in obtaining the first in Texas College of American Pathologists Biorepository Accreditation.
Arnaud taught microbiology at the MD Anderson School of Health Professions. He is a certified laboratory scientist, and has a certificate in biomedical Informatics from the University of Texas School of Biomedical Informatics. He maintains membership with the American Society for Microbiology, the American Society of Clinical Pathology, and the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
Arnaud enjoys mentoring and public speaking, He lives with his spouse Olga and their four children in Houston, Texas.
